Influesnter's BlogSTAR VirtualVox Challenge!

 

Well, where do I even start? Influenster sent me an email about this awesome contest for us folks in the blogosphere who show them love. I was pretty eager and honored to be one of the many to be chosen. So, in this blog, you all will understand why I, as well as many others, love Influenster. So here goes... 

One of my favorite vox boxes that I have received was a semi recent one I got back in May called the Go Vox Box. In that vox box, Influenster provided (complimentary of course):PROFOOT Triad Orthatics & Pedi-Rock, Playtex Sport Fresh Balance Tampons, Blue Diamond Fruit Flavored Almonds (Blueberry), a coupon for Muller Yogurt, Aqua Spa Relax Collection Body Creme in Lavender & Chamomile, and The Vitamin Shoppe Next Step 20 oz JAXX Shaker Cup plus 3 samples of Next Step's Fit N 'Full Shake in the flavors French Vanilla, Swiss Chocolate, and Fresh Berries. My favorite items from this box were the Aqua Spa Relax Collection Body Creme in Lavender & Chamomile (which I am almost out of, and I know I want to purchase one), the Next Step Fit N' Full Shake in the flavor Fresh Berries, and last but not least the PROFOOT Triad Orthatics. Those definitely were the top three. Never the less, I enjoyed the entire box. Plus, it was a sweet treat from returning home from Chicago after a convention (weekend one). I felt like a kid on Christmas day.

To be honest, I longer have a smart phone (hopefully, I'll be getting one in the near future). So, I have not been able to try out the #InfluensterApp. I'm sure it's great just like the actual website. Once, I get a smart phone again, it will be the first app I download and use! I think it's cool that one can access Influenster's awesome-ness on the go.

Last year, in September, I gave in and purchased Urban Decay's Naked Palette. Yes, the beauty bloggers/vloggers but most importantly another Influenster's review was the cherry on top to convince me. I read through plenty of  reviews and each person had something great to say about this amazing eyeshadow palette. The colors are beautiful bronze tones that are shimmery and matte. It's perfect for the day time if you want a nice neutral eye or a sexy smoky eye look for the night. I even wrote a review myself but it would take me a while to find it (lots of reviews, a little over 8,000 of them).  Trust me, it's worth the hype and the price. I got my Naked Palette from Ulta (I saved my points up, and I almost got it for free.)

 

I have noticed now on Influenster there are Vox Perks. I have about four of them I can redeem but I have not had a chance to. It's cool that this is now a feature on Influenster's website. I will try one out in the future though. I am grateful none the less for the offers.  

This is one from Picatto where you can get your Instagram photos made into temporary tattoos. The offer is 12 tattoos for $12, which seems neat. (One of the four offers I can choose from). 

The Hub is an area on Influenster where you can find great articles on just about anything! I really like the beauty section where I stumbled upon an article that fits my needs which is Best Eye Makeup Tricks. Let me tell you, it's an informative one. I struggle with trying to make the perfect cat eye and this gave me an idea on how to do it, the right way. Thanks to Karen F. for posting, you rock girl!  

The “Tape Trick” – Angle the scotch tape from the outer edge of your eye to the tip of your eyebrow.  Apply your eye shadow then simply remove the the tape. Not only will your eye shadow have perfect symmetry, but this will help in achieving the perfect winged liner.

I know it said to pick one topic to write about but I am the type of person who must write about them all! Over achiever, much? LOL! I joined Influenster two years ago ( June 2012) and I am so glad I did. It's a great way to try out new products (complimentary of course) and the best part is...IT'S COMPLETELY FREE! You can link your social media accounts (ex: facebook, twitter, Instagram, YouTube,etc.) and write blogs as well. Be sure to let the world know! That means post what you got from Influenster on your social media, blogs, write reviews, and by word of mouth (family, friends, co-workers, classmates, etc). Make sure to always include what you received is complimentary from Influenster (rule of thumb). This is a great way to learn and share with everyone and perhaps you might influence them too. Thank you, Influenster for all the amazing products you have sent me to try out via vox boxes or brand boxes too. I truly appreciate it. I'll link Influenster down below so you can join the fun too!
